When the website is accessed, Netlify processes technically necessary data, in particular IP address, date and time, requested file, amount of data transferred, referrer as well as browser and operating system information. The processing serves the secure, fast and stable operation of the website.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure provision of the website.

Netlify operates a globally distributed infrastructure. Processing in the USA and other third countries can therefore not be excluded. For cross-border data transfers, Netlify refers, among other safeguards, to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Technical log data is retained only within the retention periods applicable at Netlify and then removed, unless longer retention is required for security or legal reasons.

If you contact us, we process your contact details and the information about your desired stay in order to respond to your inquiry and prepare a possible booking. Mandatory fields are marked in the form; further information is voluntary.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures. If the inquiry is not aimed at entering into a contract, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the proper handling of the contact request.

Form inquiries are sent via the GMX mail service directly to the family email address stated above. The mail provider processes the message and connection data required for delivery. The website does not create a user account, inquiry record or booking record in a database for this purpose.

After sending, the form data is not stored further by the website. The received email is kept in the family mailbox only as long as necessary to process the inquiry or as required by statutory obligations.

The availability display retrieves private calendar feeds from Airbnb and Traum-Ferienwohnungen on the server side. Only occupied periods are processed and temporarily cached; reservation names or booking details are neither shown to website visitors nor stored in a separate booking database. When the calendar is opened, the visitor's browser does not establish a direct connection to the rental platforms. The calendar is non-binding guidance and not an online booking system.

This website uses GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly service for simple website analytics. GoatCounter.com is operated by Martin Tournoij, Ireland. The integration helps us understand page views, visited pages, referrers and basic technical information in aggregated form, so that we can improve the website.

According to GoatCounter, the data is stored in aggregate form and without visitor profiles. IP addresses, full User-Agent headers or persistent tracker IDs are not stored. GoatCounter also does not set cookies, localStorage or comparable browser storage technologies for website visitors.

An interactive Google Maps map can be loaded on the website. For users in the European Economic Area, the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The map is initially deactivated. Only when you click "Load Google Maps" is a connection to Google established. In particular, your IP address, browser and device information as well as the page accessed may be transmitted to Google, and cookies or comparable technologies may be used. Processing by Google in the USA and other third countries cannot be excluded.

Embedding takes place solely on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Your choice applies only to the current page view; after reloading the page, the map is deactivated again. The lawfulness of processing that has already taken place remains unaffected by withdrawal.
